Buried Ultrasonic Water Level Meter
The device is housed in a waterproof, corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel shell and integrates a water level detection module (water depth and status), Bluetooth configuration module, LoRa wireless communication module, and a built-in lithium thionyl chloride battery.
The measuring principle is based on a liquid-medium ultrasonic sensor, which calculates the distance by measuring the time interval between sound wave transmission and reception, combined with compensated sound velocity. By capturing the echo from the water surface, the device determines the current water level.
Through LoRa wireless communication, the buried monitoring point transmits water level data to a remote host and telemetry terminal. The telemetry terminal then uses the built-in 4G module to forward data to the local urban waterlogging early-warning platform (supporting multiple reporting protocols). At the same time, real-time water level readings can be displayed on an LED screen. When thresholds are exceeded, sirens and audio-visual alarms are triggered, enabling full monitoring of urban waterlogging, coordinated drainage management, and the establishment of an integrated flood monitoring and early-warning system.
Supports external display for real-time water level monitoring, with color alerts when exceeding limits
Configurable via mobile Bluetooth app
IP68 waterproof rating for year-round outdoor operation, resistant to rain exposure
Long service life: up to 5 years continuous operation without waterlogging
LoRa communication with long-distance transmission
Compact design, low power consumption, strong anti-interference performance, easy installation
Multiple monitoring points can simultaneously transmit data to the host
